The Exclusive Care plan is a self-funded and self-administered plan created by the County of Riverside to provide a high-value health plan option with lower premiums and copayments than other health plans.  The plan offers broad coverage and low out-of-pocket expenses, but requires that participants seek services from the contracted health care providers located in the Riverside County service area.

The unique plan design makes it important that members live or work within the plan’s service area since participants are required to travel to Riverside County for all non-emergency treatment.
